Salmon Rice Balls
Ingredients
- Salmon — cooked
- Rice — I like to use GABA rice
- Mayo — about 2 tbsp for 2 kids
- Soy sauce — splash
- Sesame oil — splash
- Seasoned vinegar — splash
- Salt and pepper — to taste
- Optional toppings: sriracha, seaweed, ikura (salmon roe), avocado
Note: For a generous portion for 2 kids, I use 2 salmon filets and 1 cup of cooked rice.
For a healthier mayo substitute, you can use hummus, cream cheese, or avocado to help bind the rice balls.
Instructions
- Cook salmon. I usually bake in oven in low heat 325F.
- Mix rice with cooked salmon. Add in seasoning.
- Shape into small balls and serve.
Enjoy!
